this two-story beachside residence undertook a large renovation and full height glazing added to capture the panoramic beachside views.
the existing beautiful travertine floor tiles, steel balustrade staircase and some of the client’s favourite furnishings needed to be retained. inspiration was taken from these items in selecting new finishes and styling to facilitate a natural transition from the existing to the new.
the result was a sophisticated and peaceful haven for the client to fully enjoy, while soaking in their amazing environment.
the chimney breast was clad with soft coloured travertine slabs to marry in the upstairs refurbishment with the downstairs existing rich travertine floors.
understated relaxed elegance was achieved in the master bedroom using the finest grade spanish linen on a bespoke bedhead.
